The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.

I'm sure many of you can relate with the above. Some in different ways than others, especially us WoT readers, but I find that saying to be so true... Things happen as they will, and all we can do is the best we can. Some ppl have great influence over our lives, and things always work out as they should. We don't always like the "should" but it is what it is.

So, my sister is permanently glued to the couch in recovery from knee surgery. I deffinetly don't envy her at all, she is LITERALLY stuck on the couch; she sleeps there too b/c a bed is to soft for her. But she's getting some good drawing in (did an amazing sketch of her and a friend) plus some reading and good movies. Mom's knee is also getting better, which is a good thing; and in a mere few days her and Dad leave for NY for a day short of a week for The Powerlifting Worlds. So thats exciting.

Had an awesome weekend/begining. Moved in with Mel to keep her company and fight off evil scary house noises... seriously, they're freaking creepy. But it was so awesome. We talked and watched sex and the city and ate chocolate and stayed up way to late at night, but it was awesome. I misses my friend.

Finally got the brakes checked out. They've been screamin somehting fierce and I"ve flat out avoided using them b/c the screaming means they're dieing. SO, got breaks from Canadian Tire, and today mine and my fathers schedules finally coincided enough to check em out. Only to discover a few things like: A) They sold me the wrong fucking brakes. B) They don't ACTUALLY need to be changed. Why they're screaming we don't know, but for the most part, apparently my car is ok. We were going to check the timing as well but we could'nt for the life of us figure outWHAT the timing should be at. So that'll be another day. But the coolest part was I got to take my tires off with the air gun. This is the part my father generally does for me, but today it was all ME! So cool. Scary at first, but then cool. I love knowing how to fix my car and do things for myself. It was hilarious tho, I couldn't for the life of my get my one tire BACK on the bolts... and my dad just stood there and LAUGHED at me. It really was hilarious.

Watched Over the Hedge tongith!! Made me SOO Happy!! Naturally I LOVE the squirrel!!! SO much!! WIth taht I shall leave you with a picture of a squirrel i found entertaining, and head off to bed.

MUFFINS!!!

Yay!! Cole bought me a muffin for breakfast!! Finally, rewards for going to class at 8 am on a Monday. Seriously tho, I got up for class today, and checked THREE different clocks to make sure it actually WAS 7:30 am. It just seemed too dark, and driving to school the sun was JUST starting to rise behind the mountains... wtf?!?! Is it LEGAL to have class before sunrise? If it is, it shouldn't be...

So Saturday, I had my first "formal" farrier lesson... man did that suck. Kantana pulled one of his shoes, so I needed to take the other one off, AND he needed a trim. Problem: My mom has very badly sprained her knee. SO! I get started on my own. Now my first mistake is I forgot to file the nails down where the stick out of the hoof wall. Now these shoes shoulda been off at LEAST 2 weeks ago, which is a long time considering shoes are generally redone every 6-8 weeks. So I figured, one's already gone, the other should come easily. But no. My mom puts these shoes on so freaking well (and I shoulda realized this since the other shoe fell off but took a piece of his hoof with it) that no matter how hard I pull its not coming. BLAH! At this point I should also mention I am in running shoes, and wearing essentially spandex pants (not quite but I can't place the name of the material at the mo, so you get the idea) and I'm not wearing gloves. So his leg is bruising mine, and the nippers used to remove shoes are blistering my hand. So finally my mom limps out to laugh at me up close instead of from a distance, so I run off to get the file and post. I turn my back for one second to put on the farrier chaps to prevent further bruising, and my mothers already got Kantana's foot on the post and she's proceeding to file... WTF?!?!? She can hardly walk she shouldn't be doing farrier work. So I take over... kinda get the nails filed down, shoe is off, hurray. Then mom starts instructing me on using the hoof knife to take off excess sole, and then somehow SHE"S got his foot and she's doing the clipping. How it occurred, I'm still not certain, so I RE takeover, and she instructs me on filing his foot level, how to hold his foot between my legs properly all these technical things. We throw his foot back on the post to file the outer wall for angles (which my mom does) and then that foots down, one to go. So I pick up the other foot, and essentially I hold the foot, and my mom does the farrier work. Have I mentioned Kantana is now standing on his own in the middle of the yard at this point? With 2 females, both slightly crippled by now, hovering over his foot... he is SUCH a good pony. It had to have looked ridiculous tho... how many blonds does it take to shoe a horse? 2 one to do the farrier work, the other to hold his foot b/c they cant multitask. Anyways... so we got the other foot done, and I rode Apollo... plus I did Pilate's in the morning. Needless to say two days later I'm still bruised and sore from the days events.

Randomness... has anyone ever noticed how often we use the word "to(o)"? Its quite a substantial number.

In other events I went and saw a standup comedian with Melissa and Tabatha at the Ramada last night. Was tres funny. We were sitting with a couple Mel and Tabatha believed to be on a first date. The guy was at least 50. It was so cute. Also saw Robbie there, he looked so cute in his little bow tie, lol.

And now I dare say it is time for a nap.

Holy Crap

Wow.... I haven't posted for a week. How unlike me. Um... gosh, whats happening with me? Oh, right, nothing. I work. I go to school. I work. I sleep. I work. I see a friend for a moment or two. I work. Thats pretty well it. Tho I will confess I did get Wednesday off, but I worked 2 shifts today.

IN other news, my sister is ACTUALLY getting knee surgery this monday. So taht will make life interessting. Especially since on Monday, or Tuesday the horse my mom was riding fell down and the end result was my mom having a swollen sprained knee. So now we shall have two family members down with not so good knees. Interessting...

Today was a fun day. Went to Melissa's house THREE times... was awesoem!! I do not see my friend nearly enough. Also, took Jenny around town and took many pictures with Spirit Bears (which I just learned we've missed 5 in PG, plus 1 in 100mile house). Also, the Terry Fox statue... since that one and the author of tha tbook on 3rd ave are the only statues we seem to have in town. If anyone thinks of otehrs let us know. But these pictures involved odd poses, and my Mickey Mouse hat on both us and the statues.

There was something else I wanted to discuss, but I dont' recall.... I"m to sleepy for this.

They're fattening me up to cook me in a stew!!!

So I come home last night... and what do I find on the counter?!?! A huge box of chocolate bars, AND a huge bag of chocolate bars. So after ridiculously stuffing my face for a while, I pry myself away with some hidden shard of discipline (<- why does that spelling look so wrong...). So this morning I plead with my mother, why?!? Why is there so much readily available chocolate there?!?! She said to ask my father, but being the loving mother she is, she hid it for me. It made me sad, cried a little, but its for the best. So she leaves to ride ponies, so I start an epic search for breakfast... and boy do I ever find it quickly. I had Rolo Ice Cream. *sigh* I will be fatter than Becca at the rate I"m going... AHA!!! I found them... oh god I have a problem... this is an addiction worse than smoking.

Mmmmm jalapeno dipping sauce....

Its so good, i'm eating more pizza just so I can eat the sauce... thats kinda revolting isnt' it? And speaking of revolting, Pumpkin Pie. HA! I admitted it, Pumpkin pie is disgusting... I have no interest in the insides of a rotten melon that is frighteningly similar to Squash which is served with vegetables.

New topic: OH serving, how I missed thee...

In ways. I really do enjoy serving, quite a bit. I just don't appreciate wearing coffee and water. I was loading up a tray of drinks, when Cara (my partner in crime) , decided to stand and dump my tray on to me. Hurray. I'm dripping wet, I need to mop the floor, and repour my six drinks for my new table. The nice thing is tho, I don't get stressed anymore when I've been slammed, or too much is going on.... just take it all in stride.

Topic switch: Alternate reality.

I've seemed to make my own... based on teh books i'm reading. Which is why reading a series of 11 books about a bunch of boys and girls my own age set in a "middle earth/medival" time period may not be the best idea. I have random urges to draw my sword/dagger, thoughts of how I could use the one power to assist me, and have dreams about travelling which is really walking or riding accross fields and through forests for days on end. All of these I might add will really be renforced when I start playing the new Zelda... but I'm going to be reading the new manga Nana shortly... so then I'll be a japanese rock star with a sword weilding magic in downtown Tokyo...? *sigh*

Different Topic: Work

I have two jobs as we know... and I"d like to inform you all I've been scheduled for 9 days this week!! Technically shifts, so if anyone has mastered cloning, let me know it will help me greatly!!! *sigh* i need a day off...

Alternate Topic: Cool Card

I do'nt have one

End of Topics.

This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then - explode.

But I dont want to explode.

Goin' on a year now I ain't had nothin' twixt my nethers weren't run on batteries!

Tee hee... funny lines from Serenity. Only saw a piece of it, but it was witty funny line after line after line.

For everyones own peice of mind, Phil's alive. Saw him with my own eyes.

I'm sssssoooooo sleepy. I should be in bed.

Ha... if I can get to it... started "cleaning" today... which means I COMPLETLY cleaned the area immediately around my bed, and repositioned the bed in my room..... but basically any area not directly around the bed is now 100x worse than pre cleaning.

But under teh mattress was a $20!!! Fuckin A!!!

Going to bed before I pass out.

Love you, love this town, love this mother lovin car that keeps lovin breaking down.

Tee hee... such a funny song.

Anyhoo... I'm sick.. again/still. however you want to look at it, but I've had enough of it.

Got to see Mel today, made me so happy.

Also watched my mom warm up her horse, but not ride cause I was way to cold and sick.

It was my ONE night off and I spent it in here cooped up updating my deviant art site.

The least YOU could do for me is look at it!

That is all... if anyone has any ideas for a persuasive presentation for me..... lemme know.

Good day.

Yes I like Pina Coladas!!

FOURTY NINE DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!!!

Till what you ask? Do you really have to ask? Why, till I'm nineteen of course!! And I can go dancing and drinking in any province in Canada!!! Till I can sign all my own legal documents, and get a credit card, and be FREEEEEEEEEE!!!!

If you like Pina Coladas
And getting caught in the rain
If you're not into yoga
If you have half a brain
If you'd like making love at midnight
In the dunes on the Cape
Then I'm the love that you've looked for
Write to me and escape.

Also, FOURTY SEVEN DAYS LEFT!!

Now, I suppose less of you actually have to guess that one... thats till the Wii comes out, or more importantly... The new Zelda *sigH*

So bring me two pina coladas
One for each hand
Lets set sail with captin morgan
And never leave dry land
Troubles I forgot em
I buried em in the sand
So bring me two pina coladas
She said good-bye to her good timin man
